Who doesn’t like Chocolate Fondue?  So, I was really excited when I received the new Velata fondue system in the mail, a no fuss fondue.  Fun and simple, easy to make and best of all no flame to worry about as the heating element is a 25-watt light bulb (yes a light bulb).  I loved the concept of the silicone dish and the Velata warmer did keep the melted chocolate at the perfect temperature.  Our biggest decision was which flavor chocolate to try.  I also judge a product by clean up and it goes in the dishwasher, another time saver.

The only disappointment Thanksgiving was I had made all these wonderful desserts and the Chocolate Fondue was the hit of the night.  I used strawberries and bananas and we had to open our second chocolate pouch (another perk is the chocolate is in pouches and heats in the microwave).  I already know the next time I have extras,  my new chocolate fondue will be served.
