Cancer Survivor Luncheon in New Roads-BEST GROUP!!

This was one of those times I was asked to speak at a great event for an even better cause. Nutrition is important in maintaining good health and disease prevention. If you haven’t ever been with the people of New Roads, you are in for a treat. I was welcomed with BIG open arms to their sold out luncheon of 170 people-now hats off to the ladies planning this event. Here are a few pics from my good time there. Evidently, the women (and few men who attended) understand the important of enjoying food and eating healthier as I sold out of books!!! Thanks for inviting me and for a lovely day!!!

Holly was a hit at our Cancer survivor luncheon this year. Her attitude about cooking and good nutrition motivated us all. The Staff of Pointe Coupee Homebound Health and Pointe Coupee Hospice would like to thank you again for coming.
Holly thanks so much for helping to make this event a huge success. As one of the organizers, I want you to know this was the best yet. Having you come to our community was such a treat. We had a great time and are planning for next year. We appreciate the time out of your busy schedule and we loved the cookbooks! Please let your secretary know that we also appreciated everything she did to help coordinate your visit. Jeanne LeJeune, Pointe Coupee Cancer Survivors Luncheon,
