Muffaletta Mini Mufflaletta Perfect Party Pick-Up

My husband loves to invite people over all the time for games or get-togethers.  My go-to appetizer for last-minute guests are my absolute favorite Mini Muffalettas  from my Gulf Coast Favorites cookbook.  The mix of sweet bread and salty olive salad with creamy cheese and ham is SO delicious! You will want to keep them on-hand too!  Oh, and sometimes I use sliced turkey-if you don’t want ham.

Mini Muffaletta Make-Ahead and Freeze

Whenever I make these scrumptious sandwiches, I always make extra as they freeze so well.  Make sure to freeze before baking.  When ready to serve, I take out a little ahead of time as they defrost quickly and put directly on a baking sheet.  I think any time you come to my house, I have these in the freezer…as many times I pull out for my afternoon snack.

Everyone loves sliders so I think of these as an easy-to-make Mini Muffaletta Slider that is satisfying with great flavors to serve any time of the year.  The ultimate party slider with a feast of flavors.

Mini Muffalettas from Holly Clegg trim&TERRIFIC Gulf Coast Favorites

All it takes is four easy ingredients and 15 minutes to create my popular version of this Louisiana favorite Italian-style sandwich.  Make them ahead of time and refrigerate or freeze until ready to bake.

Makes 32 – 40 Mini Muffalettas

2 (12-ounce) packages party-size rolls (16-20 to a package)
1/2 pound thinly sliced lean ham
1 1/2 cups shredded Italian five-cheese blend
1 (16-ounce) jar chopped Italian olive salad, drained

1. Preheat oven 375°F.
2. Split rolls in half, lay on baking sheet. Divide ham, cheese, and olive salad onto each roll.
3. Replace bread tops. Bake 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
