Self Magazine Editor Samples FAVORITE Louisiana Recipes
One day I got a call to say there would be a SELF Magazine Health Editor in town and would I come join them for lunch. I said, “I will cook a sampling of Louisiana recipes so she gets a tasting.” I made Shrimp Remoulade, Crabmeat Dip….few other things and Barbecue Shrimp. She posted the recipe and my lesson on how to peel…and of course made dessert from strawberries and Louisiana yams, Tropical Yam Trifle. Best of all the recipes were all healthy from my easy Louisiana cookbook.
