King Cake Recipe Lower Fat and Lower Sugar! Easy Crescent Roll King Cake
Sometimes I get an email that really touches me and this email was one of those. It is about my very, very, favorite king cake recipe, and I was excited with Kourtney’s email. I know how wonderful and simple this lighter king cake recipe is and a better diabetic sweet recipe option. What’s great about this crescent roll king cake is you can make it wherever you live and it is made with everyday ingredients. Even the kid’s love to help so whether you make it for your own Mardi Gras celebration or a family recipe, you’ll love this version.

I am 24 years old and was recently diagnosed with pre type 2 diabetes in the fall. I would recommend using less sugar in the filling and use less icing to make the recipe a more diabetic king cake recipe.
