Real food, real easy… for real people. Holly Clegg has used this motto to guide her through the creation of her trim&TERRIFIC® cookbooks and Eating Well series, which has sold over one million books. This has also been her inspiration for her Healthy Cooking Blog. For over 20 years, Clegg has championed satisfying, everyday recipes that are healthy easy recipes including quick healthy meals and and family favorites. She believes in healthy cooking the easy way! Her busy lifestyle, yet her desire to feed her own family health-conscious, homemade meals has continuously served as her inspiration through the years.

With her more health-focused books, Clegg has worked with the American Diabetes Association for her diabetic cookbook, Eating Well Through Cancer is celebrating its fifteen year in publication and an anniversary and expanded edition will be out in 2016. Eating Well to Fight Arthritis focus is on an anti-inflammatory diet to help with arthritis pain and symptoms. .
Holly’s recipes are built to prove you can cook a homemade meal that’s healthy, quick, savory and answers your food cravings. Her recipes never sacrifice flavor, while still maintaining nutritional balance. In the spirit of quick and answering the question “What do I prepare for dinner?” She prides her everyday recipes with one-stop shopping and usually you have the ingredients already in your pantry.
Clegg’s unique southern flare and delicious recipes have been featured on Fox & Friends, NBC Weekend Today Show, The 700 Club, D-Life on CNBC, QVC as well as local affiliate shows throughout the U.S. Her trim&TERRIFIC® cookbook series has been covered in USA Today, WebMD, First for Women, the Huffington Post, and The Daily Meal, among others. She was recognized as one of the Top Louisiana Chefs of 2011 by The ACF of New Orleans and will receive the Baton Rouge Epicurean Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016.
