Pecan Pies On our drive to Ft. Worth, we always stop at Lea’s Lunchroom in Lecompte  for breakfast and to pick up pies.  Well, I have never seen so many pecan pies in my entire life.  We bought a coconut chocolate, and pecan pies.  I had to take a picture of all the pecan pies and didn’t evenPIe linenEW get the hundreds of boxes already stacked with pies for pick-up.  I was really flattered to see Lea’s had my cookbook as this is one of those places–to know I have made it.  Now, to be honest, we all liked my pecan pie better than theirs, but the chocolate and coconut with the big meringues were a hit!
