Slow Cooker Cabbage Roll Casserole
Even my kids request this recipe as growing up in Louisiana they love jambalaya.  You can think of it as a New Year’s Day jambalaya crock pot recipe!

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2pounds ground sirloin
  • 1 onionchopped
  • 1teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4teaspoon pepper
  • 3cups instant brown rice
  • 1(16-ounce) bag cole slaw
  • 1(24-26-ounce) jar healthy marinara sauce
  • 1/4cup light brown sugar
Instructions
  1. In 3 1/2-6 quart slow cooker, insert plastic liner if desired. In large skillet, cook meat, onion, and garlic over medium heat and cook until meat is done, about 7 minutes. Drain any excess liquid. Add pepper.

  2. Add meat with remaining ingredients to slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW 4-6 hours.
