Ahi Tuna Tacos with Wasabi Cream and Mango Avocado Salsa  Too Hot in the Kitchen: Secrets to Sizzle At Any Age

Tuna is fast cooking and fast preparation and combined with the fiery Wasabi Cream and the freshness of salsa, you have a marvelous meal in minutes. I have included two salsa options, as I couldn’t decide which I preferred.

1 teaspoon olive oil
10-12 ounces ahi tuna (1-inch thick)
2 teaspoons taco seasoning mix
4 flour tortillas
Wasabi Cream (see recipe)

1. Heat oil in pan until hot. Season tuna on both sides and add to hot pan. Sear for 1 minute per side or until fish is cooked on the outside, but rare inside. Set aside.
2. Heat tortillas in microwave with a damp paper towel to cover for 30 seconds. Fill tortillas with tuna, top with Wasabi Cream and salsa of choice.

Holly’s choice:  Have you ever used a tortilla warmer –it’s an insulated microwave pouch that keeps the tortillas warm for one hour!  LOVE this product for serving tacos!
