Easy Crock Pot Roast
Intimidated by cooking a roast?  Don’t be! Three ingredients make up a scrumptious sauce and this is the best crock pot roast recipe. Toss in slow cooker, put in liner, and you have a memorable easy pot roast recipe for dinner effortlessly.

Ingredients
  • 1 beef sirloin tip roasttrim excess fat, 4-pound
  • 6cloves garlicsliced or garlic powder
  • 1cup lite beer
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 bottle chili sauce12-ounce
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
Instructions
  1. Cut slits in roast and stuff pieces of garlic throughout meat. Season meat with pepper.
  2. In 3 1/2-6-quart slow cooker, insert plastic liner if desired, and mix together beer, chili sauce and onion soup mix. Add roast and turn to coat with sauce. Cook on LOW 6-8 hours or until meat is tender.

Terrific Tip:  You don’t have to use a slow cooker and can cook the roast in the oven at 325°F for about 4 hours or until tender.  Cook safely in your slow cooker and make sure your slow cooker is filled at least half full and no more than 2/3 full.

Terrific Tip: Don’t confuse Chili Sauce (found by mayo and dressings section of grocery) with Asian “hot” chili sauce or you’ll have a very spicy recipe. Season the roast the day before and refrigerate if time permitted.
