Blackened Fish
Blackening gives fish flavor without the fuss and you’ll love my sweet and spicy restaurant quality seasoning. Believe it or not, you can make this recipe “Ferrari fast.”

Ingredients
  • 2tablespoons paprika
  • 1teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2pounds fish fillets
  • 2tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
  1. In small bowl or plastic zip-top resealable bag, combine all ingredients, except fish and oil. Coat both sides of fish with seasoning mixture.
  2. In large nonstick pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Place fish in hot pan and cook 2-3 minutes on each side until fish is done and flakes with fork.

Terrific Tip: Fish is done when center is white and opaque — no longer translucent. Any fresh fish may be used such as grouper, halibut, tilapia, trout or catfish.
