Marvelous Marinara Sauce
My best marinara sauce recipe makes a delicious diabetic marinara sauce recipe. Yes, less than 10 ingredients and soooooo good! Serve with pasta and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients
  • 2teaspoons olive oil
  • 1/3cup onionchopped
  • 1teaspoon garlicminced
  • 1/4teaspoon hot pepper flakes
  • 1/4cup fat-free chicken broth
  • 1(28-ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1teaspoon oregano leavesdried
  • 1teaspoon basil leavesdried
Instructions
  1. In large nonstick skillet, heat oil and sauté onion, garlic and pepper flakes 4 minutes or until almost tender. Add chicken broth and cook until liquid has evaporated, about 3 minutes.

  2. Add tomatoes to skillet, bring to boil, lower heat and cook 5 minutes.

  3. Add oregano and basil, cook on medium heat 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
