Mediterranean Layered Dip

Ingredients
  • 1(8-ounce) package reduced-fat cream cheese
  • 1/2cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 1/2teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2teaspoons lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2cups roasted red pepper hummus
  • 1cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1cup chopped cucumber
  • 1/3cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4cup crumbled reduced-fat feta cheese
  • 3tablespoons sliced Kalamata or black olives
Instructions
  1. In bowl, blend together cream cheese, yogurt, oregano, garlic, lemon juice and season to taste. Spread on large round serving plate.

  2. Carefully spread hummus over cream cheese.  Sprinkle with remaining ingredients. Refrigerate until serving.

Terrific Tip: Serve Mediterranean dip with hummus with pita chips or sliced fresh vegetables. My recipe for homemade pita chips. Cut the pitas into 6 triangles and bake 375 ̊F. for 5-7 minutes.
