Ingredients
- 1 package fettuccine 12-ounce
- 8 ounces Italian sausage crumbled
- 1 cup diet cola
- 1 pound medium peeled shrimp
- 1 can diced tomatoes and green chilies 10-ounce
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1/2 cup white wine or cooking wine
- 1 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf Italian parsley
- 1 bunch green onions chopped
- 1/4 pound fresh mozzarella cut into small pieces (optional)

Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting any salt or oil. Drain and set aside.
- In nonstick skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove from heat and gradually add cola, stirring. Return to heat and cook until cola is reduced to 1/4 cup, about 10 minutes. Set aside.
- In another large nonstick skillet coated with nonstick cooking spray, sauté shrimp about a minute. Add tomatoes and green chilies and garlic, cooking 3 minutes. Add wine, cooking and stirring until shrimp are done. Stir in parsley and green onions, cooking one minute.
- Toss pasta and Italian sausage with shrimp mixture. If desired, top with fresh mozzarella, and serve.
