You’ll LOVE Holly’s Wild Rice Casserole Recipe For Stove Top Recipes When Out of Oven Space

Are you looking for quick and easy holiday wild rice recipes and to cook wild rice stove top?  Best of all, you don’t need an oven to cook this dish.  Less than 10 ingredients and about 10 minutes to make! Throw this easy side dish together from Holly’s arthritis cookbook for her simple wild rice casserole recipe.  The best of healthy wild rice recipes perfect to make when your oven is busy and there is no oven space left.  This easy wild rice casserole is perfect for quick stove top recipes.  While the rice is cooking, saute’ the peppers and toss together in no time at all. The wild rice adds a delicious nutty flavor to the dish, while the peppers add a natural sweetness. A good for you quick side that’s a healthy easy recipe!

Wild Rice and Peppers
Easy to make to cook wild rice stove top when out of oven space. I think about this festive wild rice casserole recipe during the holidays but truly, it's year round healthy wild rice recipes.
Servings 8 (3/4 cup) servings
Ingredients
  • 1 (6-ounce) box long-grain and wild rice mix
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 in red bell pepper cored, sliced long, thin slices
  • 1 in green bell pepper cored, sliced long, thin slices
  • 1/2 pound sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup cooked white rice
  • 1 bunch green onions chopped
Servings 8 (3/4 cup) servings
Ingredients
  • 1 (6-ounce) box long-grain and wild rice mix
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 in red bell pepper cored, sliced long, thin slices
  • 1 in green bell pepper cored, sliced long, thin slices
  • 1/2 pound sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup cooked white rice
  • 1 bunch green onions chopped
Instructions
  1. Cook wild rice according to package directions; set aside.

  2. In large nonstick skillet, heat oil and sauté red and green peppers, and mushrooms until tender, 5 - 7 minutes. Stir in both cooked rice, and green onion.
