Holly’s delectable combination of crisp pears, tart cherries, bacon and feta over romaine lettuce only tastes gourmet as it is so simple to make! If you are looking for the best turkey bacon recipes look no further. Toss with your favorite balsamic vinaigrette or combination of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. 

Easy Turkey Bacon Recipes Taste Gourmet

Eating green never tasted so good as with this pear salad recipe. Chocked full of nutrition from the romaine, to the vitamin C rich pears and cherries, this salad has it all. Pears are a good source of fiber—6 grams of fiber per medium size pear—helping to keep your blood sugar balanced. Turkey bacon recipes even cut down on the saturated fat while that satisfying bacon flavor remains, lowering your risk for heart disease.

Pear Chopped Salad
Crisp pears, tart cherries, bacon and feta combined with romaine lettuce create an incredible tasting, almost seductive salad. Toss with your favorite balsamic vinaigrette or combination of olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
Prep Time 10 minutes
Servings 8 (1-cup) servings
Ingredients
  • 6 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 2 medium pears chopped
  • 1/3 cup dried cherries or cranberries
  • 1/3 chopped pecans toasted
  • 1/3 cup chopped red onion
  • 6 slices crisp-cooked turkey bacon crumbled
  • 1/3 cup reduced-fat feta cheese
Prep Time 10 minutes
Servings 8 (1-cup) servings
Ingredients

  1. In large bowl, combine lettuce, pears, cherries, pecans, bacon and feta.
