Stuffed Artichoke Casserole -Perfect Recipe To Jazz Up Your Holiday Sides

Are you bored with your same holiday menu or want to add a new incredible artichoke hearts recipe to your menu? You’ll love Holly’s Stuffed Artichoke Casserole from KITCHEN 101 cookbook because who has time to mess with stuffed artichoke recipes? Open a can for this quick artichoke hearts casserole. Holly is here to the rescue with her fabulous artichoke stuffing recipe because it’s such a simple toss together recipe. Don’t save this favorite stuffed artichoke recipe just for the holidays as you will enjoy it year round. With canned artichokes, stuffing mix and seasoning, there’s a good chance you already have the ingredients in your house.

Stuffed Artichoke Casserole
No fuss with stuffing! Best of stuffed artichoke recipes because you mix all the ingredients in one skillet and close your eyes and you will think you are eating the best stuffed artichoke recipe ever.  However, it really is an all in one baked stuffed artichoke casserole. Outstanding and so simple!
Servings 4 (1 cup) servings
Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 1/2 cups seasoned stuffing mix
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • 1 cup fat-free chicken broth
  • 1 (14-ounce) can artichoke hearts drained and coarsely chopped
  • 1/4-1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Servings 4 (1 cup) servings
Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 1/2 cups seasoned stuffing mix
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • 1 cup fat-free chicken broth
  • 1 (14-ounce) can artichoke hearts drained and coarsely chopped
  • 1/4-1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
  1. In large nonstick skillet, heat oil and sauté onion and garlic until tender. Add stuffing, oregano and basil and mix until combined. Add chicken broth and artichokes, carefully mixing.

  2. Add cheese stirring until heated and well mixed. Then, transfer to serving dish.

Terrific Tip: Prepare ahead of time and transfer to a baking dish. Heat in 350°F. oven 20 minutes or until heated. For vegetarian version, substitute vegetable broth.

    Can you use Italian Breadcrumbs; instead of the Stuffing mix?

      I think you probably could use Italian bread crumbs as I used to make an oyster dish with the bread crumbs. The stuffing mix gives the recipe a little more substance and will go farther. Let me know if you try it with bread crumbs as I am curious now. I will also have to try it! Great idea
