Who doesn’t want a simple shrimp scampi recipe?  This delicious, popular seafood recipe with shrimp, lemon, butter and garlic tops menus nationwide. Here’s the best shrimp scampi recipe with all the fancy flair and flavor but but better for you healthy shrimp scampi recipe.  Whip up my Baked Shrimp Scampi recipe from Guy’s Guide To Eating Well at home for a quick last minute dinner.  Layer shrimp and top with seasoning to pop in the oven for the best shrimp scampi recipe ever.  Fast and fabulous. My Best Shrimp Scampi Recipe is One Dish From Oven to Table

I usually place my shrimp mixture in a Pyrex pan and cover it with the crumbly topping.  Easy to make and no clean up.  Make some angel hair pasta to enjoy the delicious sauce.  Made with everyday ingredients and maybe pick up a fresh lemon to garnish the dish.  Absolutely, delicious and such a simple shrimp scampi recipe and goes great with my Lemon Angel Hair pasta.

Oven Baked Shrimp Scampi
My healthy shrimp scampi recipe is rich tasting oven-baked Italian seasoned shrimp topped with a crispy topping  and is actually super easy to make and will delight the senses.
Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 20-25 minutes
Servings 4 servings
Ingredients
  • 1 lb medium large shrimp peeled
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp white wine
  • 1 tsp garlic minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano leaves
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter melted
  • 1/2 cup green onions chopped
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 20-25 minutes
Servings 4 servings

Instructions
  1. In shallow baking dish combine shrimp, olive oil, wine, garlic, oregano and season to taste. Let sit about 10 minutes
  2. Preheat oven 425°F.
  3. In bowl, mix together butter, green onions, lemon juice and Panko bread crumbs. Sprinkle evenly over shrimp in marinade. Bake 20-25 minutes (don’t over bake) or until shrimp are done.

My best shrimp scampi recipe works great for individual servings.  Sometimes, if I am having company or want to make the baked shrimp scampi ahead of time, I put in ramekins and then pop directly in the oven.  You can use miniature ramekins for an appetizer or I keep these on hand for an impressive serving.  They are really au gratin dishes but they have a multitude of uses.
