My Quick Chili recipe from my easiest KITCHEN 101 cookbook makes a great choice whether you are having company or need a quick dinner. Nothing beats a simmering pot on the stove on a cold day in front of the television set.  My sister called me yesterday and said, “I forgot how fabulous your quick chili recipe was!” This easy beef chili recipe uses 10 ingredients and takes about 10 minutes to prepare.  Now, you know why I always make this ground beef chili recipe and it’s my favorite quick and easy chili recipe. Who doesn’t like a fast chili recipe and it tastes like its been simmering on the stove for hours. Of course, this healthy fast chili recipe is in KITCHEN 101, my easiest cookbook.

Makes Self-Serve Dinner with No Fuss Easy Beef Chili Recipe

Why chili? Well, a pot of chili on the stove is self-serve! Best of all, I watch the football game and don’t spend all my time in the kitchen.  Chili stretches to feed a crowd and my easy chili recipe is a dump and stir quickie–no time consuming all day recipe!  Actually, this has been my go to fast chili recipe for years. Be sure to use ground sirloin as any meat ending in “loin” is your leanest cut!  And, if my team doesn’t win, I can count on my chili being a winning recipe!!!!

Quick Chili recipe from KITCHEN 101 cookbook

I needed a last minute dinner so I took ground beef from the freezer.  Next, I raided my pantry and created this fantastic full-flavored easy beef chili recipe. Top with conidments and I usually serve with chopped red onions, avocado and shredded reduced-fat Cheddar cheese. My go to fast chili recipe and tastes like it has been cooking for hours!

Makes 4 heaping (1-cup) servings

1 pound ground sirloin
1 onion, chopped
1 (15-ounce) can fat-free chicken broth
1 (10 1/2-ounce) can diced tomatoes and green chilies
1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
Dash ground cinnamon
Salt and pepper to taste
1 (15-ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed

1. In large nonstick pot, cook meat and onion until done and drain any excess fat.
2. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and cook over low heat about 10 minutes.

  1. I actually made this for Super Bowl Sunday without knowing it was on here. It was fantastic. I actually used 1 lb ground turkey and 1 lb turkey sausage. I double my batch so that I would have left overs and be able to freeze it for later. Delicious!
