If you are new to the kitchen and feel intimidated let my cookbook, KITCHEN 101: Secrets to Cooking Confidence be your guide to deliver figure-friendly, family pleasing meals. My beef brisket recipes are those recipes that you can turn easily into another meal the next day. From quesidallas to sliders, tender brisket is wonderful in either of these recipes.
How to cook a beef brisket-in my easiest healthy cookbook!
A brisket is a cut of meat that needs to cook a long time to get tender. Look for a trimmed brisket at the grocery as it will be much leaner! Brisket with Mango Barbecue Sauce from KITCHEN 101 is absolutely delicious and bascially cooks itself. Yes, you can cook the brisket in the oven. However, slow cooker beef brisket recipes are simple, tender and the dinner cooks while you’re gone. Whether you prepare my best brisket recipes in a crock pot or the oven, just start the recipe and forget about it.
You can easily turn your leftover brisket into another meal by making sliders or tacos. Also, brisket freezes well so freeze in servings to pull out for last minute meals. To make these delcious brisket sliders, fill sweet rolls with brisket and add Brie and red onion. I had brisket served this way in St. Louis at a restaurant and thought it might have been the best sandwich ever.

Cook in heated skillet until bottom is crisp, flip over, and cook another 1-2 minutes. Cut into fourths.
Slow cookers are the best when you are busy all day. This brisket recipe below is a great slow cooker choice and in KITCHEN 101 I include a chapter called Crock Pot Convenience Chapter. If you don’t have a slow cooker, I like this 7 quart, progammable and reasonably priced slow cooker.
