Best Oatmeal Pie Recipe and Pecan Pie Turn Into One Fabulous Oatmeal Pecan Pie

Have you ever had an Oatmeal Pie? With Thanksgiving around the corner, pies become more popular than ever. Holly has the best Chocolate Pecan Pie recipe ever but you must try her Oatmeal Pecan Pie from Eating Well to Fight Arthritis cookbook.  The best of two worlds with oatmeal and pecans, you’ll adore this easy pecan oatmeal pie recipe. Did you know that pecans are the nut highest in antioxidants? Of course, we know oatmeal is loaded with fiber. Remember to eat healthy this holiday season. Oatmeal Pecan Pie
This Oatmeal Pecan pie is absolutely delicious but here's' my recipe for a southern pecan pie also.
Servings 10 servings
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup old-fashioned oatmeal
  • 3/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans toasted
  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
Servings 10 servings
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup old-fashioned oatmeal
  • 3/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans toasted
  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven 325°F.

  2. In bowl, whisk together brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, and vanilla.

  3. Stir in oatmeal and pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake 40-45 minutes or until center is set. Cool completely.

Terrific Tip:  Pecan pie and oatmeal partner together for a melt-in-your-mouth divine Oatmeal Pie. Like chocolate? Just add about 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips to the Oatmeal Pecan Pie.
