Yes, you heard me right and lasagna doesn’t have to be time consuming. My healthy easy chicken lasagna recipe is made with rotisserie chicken and no boil noodles. I turn lasagna into five minute preparation and this recipe is perefect when you don’t have time to cook. Eating healthy can be fun with me! Only 5 ingredients! Including no-boil noodles, jar of marinara, ricotta, cheese and my favorite – the greatest invention EVER – rotisserie chicken. This makes the best of easy chicken lasagna recipes! I love to freeze in individual portions for your own healthy TV tray meal. Try adding sliced mushrooms, baby spinach, and black olives to this basic recipe for added nutrition. Also, try a heart healthy marinara sauce for lower sodium. Always think about adding more veggies to any of your chicken lasagna recipes. This scrumptious chicken lasagna makes a simple-to-prepare dinner because it uses no-boil noodles and rotisserie chicken. You can also use different flavored marinara sauces and that will add different tastes. Adjust the recipe with your favorite ingredients to make the best of chicken lasagna recipes. Cooking is creative and you can have fun adapting this recipe.

Makes 8-10 servings

2 (25-ounce) jars marinara sauce (heart healthy marinara sauce)
1 (8-ounce) package no-boil lasagna noodles, divided
1 (15-ounce) container low-fat ricotta cheese
2 1/4 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese, divided
1 rotisserie chicken, skin removed, cut into pieces (about 3 cups)

1. Preheat oven 375˚F. Coat 13x9x2-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray.
2. Spread about 1 cup marinara sauce on bottom of pan. Top with one-third noodles, all the ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella, half the chicken and 1 cup sauce. Repeat layering.  Start with one-third noodles, remaining chicken, and 1 cup mozzarella. Top with remaining noodles and sauce.
3. Bake, covered with foil for 1 hour. Uncover.  Top with remaining 1/4 cup cheese and continue to cook 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Terrific Tip: You can add sliced mushrooms, baby spinach, and black olives to this basic recipe. Here’s an American Heart Association certified marinara sauce.  I like Prego Heart Smart Marinara and it’s an affordable sauce too!
