- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 large onion chopped
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 1/2 cups seasoned stuffing mix
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
- 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
- 1 cup fat-free chicken broth
- 1 (14-ounce) can artichoke hearts drained and coarsely chopped
- 1/4-1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Ingredients

- In large nonstick skillet, heat oil and sauté onion and garlic until tender. Add stuffing, oregano and basil and mix until combined. Add chicken broth and artichokes, carefully mixing.
- Add cheese stirring until heated and well mixed. Then, transfer to serving dish.

Can you use Italian Breadcrumbs; instead of the Stuffing mix?

I think you probably could use Italian bread crumbs as I used to make an oyster dish with the bread crumbs. The stuffing mix gives the recipe a little more substance and will go farther. Let me know if you try it with bread crumbs as I am curious now. I will also have to try it! Great idea
